With a background in fashion, I have always loved color, it makes me smile, it warms my heart. As a 44-year-old mother of 3 boys, I never really had time for me, and then COVID hit and we needed to quarantine, and that was the first moment in my 42 years that I picked up a paintbrush and started to paint.

I paint what I feel, I paint what I dream, I paint with color and my emotions. I work predominantly in heavy acrylics and acrylic pens. I really love to work with light, the bright and I have an affinity for landscapes, trees, birds and florals. I paint to warm a person’s heart, to brighten a soul, to bring a smile to a face. I want my art to remind a person of a warm summer’s day, a true love, a breeze on your skin, to evoke a feeling of pleasure.

“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way–things I had no words for.” – Georgia O’Keeffe
